From 2005-2015 I worked on rap music videos for a living.
This is an old archive of some of that work.
Music videos - I worked on over 450 of them before retiring.
My work has spanned a decade with an intense catalogue of over 450 videos and over 730 million online views. My post production and cinematography skills have contributed to four BET award nominations, three VMA nominations, twenty-four MTV Jams "Jam of the Week," thirty-five big box WSHH debuts and countless other awards and accolades.
From artists like Lil' Wayne, Akon, Snoop Dog, Luda, Future, Wacka, Rick Ross, Tyler the Creator, Tyga, Big Boi, Meek Mills, Gucci Mane, and Yo Gotti to regional Texas legends such as UGK, Geto Boys, Zro, Slim Thug, 8 Ball / MJG, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall and Mike Jones, I've worked with almost every name in the rap game at some point.
With digital taking over the viral markets, high quality production is more accessible than ever. Most 2012 video budgets are less than circa 2002 catering budgets. The game has evolved to getting glossy high dollar looks at fractions of the old prices.
I really need to re-write all these blurbs.
